Antique Table Fall down

Hello one and all!
A coworker has a friend that was moving and dropped Grand Mas table.
ummmmmmm not good….
Broke the top tier off and the leg.

Broken Spindle

And asked me if I could repair it. I agreed.
After getting the piece I noticed that it has had previous repairs on it.

This caused major problems.
I was asked to use the existing spindle for the top tier. So epoxy it is.

Well all that said. On with the show.

It has been returned and I haven’t heard from the owner. I do hope they like it and all is well.
Thanks guys for taking time to read and watch my ramblings. It does mean a lot.

Please be careful. Some of the things I do are dangerous. It is not my fault if you get hurt. Use your brain, be safe.

Wonderful repair, Dave. The color stain match looks spot on! I love seeing a new use for a tool, I’ll have to remember that leveling trick with the aluminum bars. Looking forward to seeing you and everyone in April!
I had to watch again to see the tape dispenser 🙂
