I had asked for the Flexcut carving Jack for Christmas. And I do love it. Now I have woodworking in my pocket.
I will now keep a few pieces of basswood on me for whittling little projects for the grand kids. The flexcut knife has most of the tools in it for small projects all the way to carving spoons.
I also got a few exotic wood peen blanks and made some carving knives out of broken pen knives. Its handy to have a few on the bench for marking and sweetin up a corner in joinery.
As the hollidays went on I tried some wee people carving, ole man faces and larger projects of owls and trees.
I do recommend this skill for for and practice. Get a carving glove. Believe me. I bleed a lot and its a cheep safety factor. Go looking in the hunting section of stores around the fillet knives.
I would like to give a huge shout out to
